Numbers
It has often been said that numerologists look at numbers differently from a
mathematician. Of course, numerologists provide a metaphysical definition to the
energies designated by the numbers, but at the core, numbers are numbers. The
whole structure of the universe is built upon numerical sequences. Numerology
reads these sequences relative to each individual and to each component of the
universe.
Although the basic calculations now require only the most simple addition and
subtraction, The study of numerology can take you as deeply into mathematics as
you desire to go. The ancients, in developing numerological concepts, delved
into the most esoteric mathematical functions. Much of what passes for
numerology today was founded upon concepts which these early pioneers structured
from the concepts of higher mathematics. Very few scholars have either the time
or the knowledge to create the necessary number relationships for themselves.
The reward for those who sip from this fountain of knowledge is an assurance
that the numerology they practice is solidly based upon sound principles.
The concepts of numerology are not arbitrarily derived. Master numbers are not a
whimsical definition just because of the double digit sequence, i.e. 11, 22, 33
etc. The elemental components of these master numbers can be mathematically
shown to integrate into the universal structure in a special manner.
The scope of this article does not allow for the proofs necessary for a full
understanding. Suffice it to say that numerology can be a much deeper study than
is commonly assumed. The simplified versions which we use in practice are
logical and accurate. All numerologists of whom I am aware agree upon the
meaning of the numbers. At the core we are in agreement. There are differences
of opinion upon the reading and structure of a chart, but for the most part we
have all taken the work of the earlier adepts as our foundation. Additional
insights will be discovered as a new generation of mathematicians expand upon
this foundation.
