Employee Placement by the Numbers
Placing employees in the right position to suit their talents and motivation
will keep morale high and create a productive work environment. An unhappy
employee can quickly infect the whole crew.
For this reason, many companies spend thousands of dollars on personality tests
and other evaluation techniques. Usually this money is well spent. This same
type of knowledge could quickly and easily be gained through numerology. In
fact, many companies, including some Fortune 500 Companies, use numerology on
the qui vive. They do not want this fact to be widely known for fear of public
reprisal. Remember the outcry when it was leaked that First Lady Nancy Reagan
consulted an astrologer?
Numerology can tell a lot of important information about an employee. This
evaluation must be done very carefully. Numerology shows the natural tendencies.
For example, numerology may show that the person has a natural tendency to be
irresponsible. This is an obvious area of awareness. This finding is a good
starting place for an interview. It is not the full basis for making your
decision. It is unfair to penalize a prospective employee who has worked hard to
be responsible, in spite of this tendency. You can judge the likelihood of a
problem through a personal interview. If, however, you were unaware of this
tendency, you may overlook discussing this point.
This same type of evaluation would be possible for a number of traits. You may
have a position that requires good people skills. If that is the only position
available, a prospect may be able to fake the skills in order to get the job,
out of a sense of desperation. He may be impressive enough that you give him a
chance, only to find out that he cannot sustain the act in the field. You have
done both you and the prospect a disservice by placing him into an unsuitable
position. With numerology you would have known of this disparity.
When there is a conflict between what I observe and what I see in the numbers, I
will invariably go with the numbers. Too often I have evaluated contacts by
observation, only to find that when the numbers are in conflict the client
confirms the information obtained by the numbers.
I am reminded of a man who had been in a selling position for 10 years and was
making a substantial income from his sales. Because he was money motivated, he
was able to do all that was necessary to maintain his record. From observation,
no one would have guessed that he was anything other than totally happy with his
career choice.
He obtained a numerology evaluation when his sales started to slip. From the
numbers, it became evident that he had to fight his natural inclinations every
day to continue his success path. He was beginning to be fearful of losing what
he had built. He had to drag himself to work and he lost the bright edge on his
personality. The long years of major effort were beginning to take a toll on
him.
He was reluctant to change careers because of the money. Only when his income
was threatened could he take another look at what he was doing. Through a full
evaluation he found his niche. After making the change he had a few years of
reduced income during the transition, but now, with much less stress and a
greater degree of fulfillment, he is doing even better than before the change.
Would he have been further ahead today had he made a suitable choice initially?
I think so.
Does your job or your career fit your numbers. If not, you can maintain for a
while, but eventually you will burn out. It is easier to follow a path that
corresponds with your natural energies. You can successfully fight the numbers,
but the battle takes its toll.
