A Long Journey to Acceptance
Innovative changes in business and technology keep us constantly on our toes. In
the fast paced world of on-line marketing the changes come fast and furiously.
What was a gold mine six months ago no longer works. Faster modems and larger
hard drives make streaming video and flash websites possible.
Keeping up with the latest development can be time consuming, but unless you are
on the cutting edge, you will get in on the next trend as it is waning. The
creative geniuses who develop new systems reap the lion's share of the profit.
By the time they are willing to share their insight with you, they are already
onto the next wave. Their exhibits of high earnings, no doubt are accurate. So
you are enticed to buy their books and further increase their wealth.
It seems to me that you have two choices: either determine to be one of the
innovators, with the research and expertise required to break new ground, or to
build a solid business based upon tried and true principles. We are seeing a
resurgence of marketing books that were written a hundred years ago. You may see
this trend as a fad arising from the touting of this niche market. These books
are available because their expired copyright places them in the public domain.
But if the material were not of value in today's marketing environment, they
would have a short revival; not worth the time to market them.
Old books by the greatest minds of the ages live on because they tap into
timeless principles that work no matter what you sell and how you sell it. In
football, or any sport, when a team is floundering, the coach will return the
team to drilling on the basics. In business, when the fads fade and the income
dries up, it is usually because sound business principles were ignored in the
frenzy of the easy money. A prime example is creating hundreds of websites to
glean the ad-word revenue. With a change in the algorithms, Google virtually
killed a lot of businesses overnight. These businesses used ruses to fool the
search engines by providing multiple sites with no other purpose than
click-through ad revenue.
Of course, as expected, a lot of books appeared on how to make money with
ad-words after the shift. Some of these books had a lot of valuable material and
some were worthless rehashed information. Because too many marketers were not
well grounded, they bought these books in a panic. The authors again reaped a
handsome profit, but did they help to restore the floundering businesses? The
solid businesses survived. The fad businesses are gone until the next fad.
The market is cyclical. When a major income producer goes bust, the prudent
owner will seek a system that has been proven. He or she will again read the
classic marketing literature with fresh eyes. That which seemed stale now takes
on new vigor. it is like a life raft to a drowning man. Back to the basics!
If it is true, and it is, that older works can speak to today's business
climate, does it not seem reasonable that a system that has created positive
benefit to business for over three thousand years might have something to say to
the modern age? We venerate the Christian Bible, the Islam Koran, the Hindu
Vedas and the wisdom of Confucius. All these ancient works provide valid
guidance for a good life. We don't discount their wisdom because they are
ancient.
Numerology has been the guidance system for the governance of nations and
determining the timing and strategies of battles. Throughout the ages, it has
been instrumental in business decisions. In later years, the Christian church
stifled its popular use in order to better control the masses. Numerology and
astrology became the exclusive province of the kings and priests. Even today,
you will hear some ardent believers proclaim that the use of these God-given
tools is the work of the devil.
In this modern era, numerology has seen a revival because it works. A large debt
is owed by practicing numerologists to Juno Jordan. In the early to mid
twentieth century she established a school in California for the study and
analysis of the accuracy of numerology. For twenty-five years, she and her
students analyzed thousands of charts to gain proof positive of its
effectiveness.
Over the past fifty years, numerology has gradually again come into the
consciousness of the general populace. Many prominent stars credited the use of
numerology in choosing a stage name as a key to their meteoric success. The fans
took note and numerology became more reputable.
Although major businesses have relied upon the numbers, they have been very
secretive to avoid upsetting the shareholders and customers who may not be
accepting. Some of you will remember the flak that Nancy Reagan received when
she consulted an astrologer in the White House. Some of that stigma still
remains.
In addition to the Fortune 500 companies, Life Path Numerology Center has
dedicated itself to bring the knowledge and benefits of numerology to small and
medium sized businesses. In this emphasis we have gone against the advice of the
"experts" who advised us to find a ready market and give it what it wants. We
have instead chosen to develop the market. Because of our passion and expertise
in this field and a firm belief that numerology can save any sized business time
and money, bringing this tool to the general business market has become a
mission.
It has taken over a decade to develop a strong base. Due to the success of this
venture, qualified numerologists working with business are now much in demand.
The market is expanding more rapidly than the available professional
practitioners. For this reason, we have established the most comprehensive
professional training and certification program available in the USA. This year,
with stronger demand and to accommodate different time zones, Classes will be
held both in Indianapolis, IN, and Reno, NV. If you are looking for a career
change or to supplement your current position, now is the time to get on the
bandwagon.
